Free training for HOA board members

Board members are volunteers carrying a fiduciary duty, and almost nobody hands them training for it. These courses cover the finance, compliance, and enforcement basics a board is expected to know.

• HOA Board Fundamentals — A free, plain-language course for new HOA board members: fiduciary duty and the business judgment rule, reading your governing documents, running a meeting that holds up, budgets and reserves, enforcement without lawsuits, and records and retention. Six lessons, about 55 minutes.
